TFS SPRING 2026 GAME JAM WINNER

**Mind the Gap** is a 2D puzzle-platformer where you use telekinesis to move platforms and solve traversal challenges.

Instead of only controlling the player, you also control parts of the level. Drag platforms left, right, up, or down to create a path, cross gaps, avoid danger, and reach the end of each room.

Built for **TFS Jam - Spring 2026**, Mind the Gap focuses on simple controls, pixel-art visuals, and puzzle rooms that make you think before you move.

Change Log: 

In Game Scene

1) Changed Collider on player to be Capsule instead of square to fix getting stuck on the floor.

2) Added Composite Collider 2d on Tile map to fix player getting stuck on ground. 

3) Fixed the vertical platform going down in room 5 can go up also to get around a camera bug.

4) Locked the middle horizontal platform in room 2 so when players swap camera positions it doesn't move it across the screen.

5) Changed some cameras view sizes in room 5 going up the zigzag so player can see the arrows.

6) Filled in blank area on right side of screen when falling into room 5.

7) Slightly adjusted camera view size in room 3 for less likely chance of a platform flying across the screen from swapping camera positions  .

8) Adjusted some colliders on Stalagmites for anyone breaking through the map using Platforms in rooms 2,3,5.

9) Changed pause screen toggle from P to Esc for ease of use.

In Title Scene

1) Under the Credits Panel reduced the size of “Return to Title” button.

2) Changed the floating P in under Title to layer 5 to be in front of anything else.

3) fixed functionality on "closing the gap" (moving the p block towards the a block to start the game) so that it's more consistent.

4) fixed issues with game manager when returning from title screen.
